Mount Calm ISD Superintendent of Schools
Christy Bailey, M.Ed.
 

On April 18, 2023, the Mount Calm ISD Board of Trustees unanimously elected Christy Bailey as the superintendent of schools for Mount Calm ISD. Mrs. Bailey is a long time resident of Hill County. She is a dedicated leader who has served in education in the roles of assistant superintendent, ESL director, principal, associate principal, assistant principal, and teacher.


Mrs. Bailey is an educator with over 28 years of experience and began her career in West ISD as a student teacher, teacher, and ESL director during her time there. She moved into campus leadership at Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro ISD, and served as an elementary principal at Marvin Elementary School in Waxahachie ISD before becoming principal and assistant superintendent in Mount Calm ISD. 


Mrs. Bailey completed her undergraduate studies at Baylor University and received her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Tarleton State University. Outside of professional life, Mrs. Bailey enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Barry, and their two children.
