Athletics

This past week I had the pleasure of taking our Varsity Cheer Squad to their very first Cheer Camp at Texas Dynasty in Waco.  We learned a lot, were challenged at times, but worked very hard and pushed through to acquire new skills, stunts, and materials. On Day 3 of camp, the coaches helped put together a “Show Off Routine” using all the materials learned, for cheerleaders to showcase to family and friends. We ended with awards from Texas Dynasty for all cheerleaders for completing camp, and with special awards going to Chesnee, Landon, Naomi, and Hannah. We got to end it all with a fun swimming party. 

We are proud of each and every one of the cheerleaders. They accomplished some goals and had a wonderful time bonding this past week. We are looking forward to a great cheer season!
